We the People of the United States of America proclaim that we are a Nation founded on core values and basic principles that embraces the inherent equality of all human beings; that protects the life and well-being of all human beings and that promotes fair treatment and equal justice for all human beings. That to achieve these goals we support equal education and economic opportunities and cultivate individual and civic responsibility for all by which we as Americans can attain our happiness. The source of our unity and strength as a Nation is our realization of these goals.
